The main attraction of this village is the uninterrupted view of Mt. Kanchenjunga, the clear view of Namchi chardham or Samdruptse Monastery and the Darjeeling town . You will feel like you are somewhere in space when you see the glittering of light of Darjeeling town at night. It’s a fast upcoming travel destination yet a very peaceful place. Situated at a mild height of about 6500 feet, this place will certainly make you feel a lot more refreshed with its crisp n cool air. Dawaipani meaning in local language is ‘Medicated water’, the name derived from local river (Khola) which passes through the village.
