Ramdhura in kalimpong is a small village which is situated at a distance of just around eight kilometers from Delo.Ramdhura hamlet is winning hearts by offering a stunning view of the Kanchenjunga and the Teesta river, flowing beneath a majestic green valley. The name Ramdhura is a combination of Ram (of Ramayana) and Dhura, which means village. The village is situated at a great height, above a dense forest of pine and other hilly trees and offers absolute tranquility, which many vacationers look for. Being a small, underdeveloped village, which has caught the limelight very recently, This new off beat destination cannot provide luxurious accommodation options, but one you reach the place, perhaps those luxuries will not mean much to you, since Ramdhura will delight you with its natural treasures by that time.

Delo View Point - Just 8 Km away from Ramdhura Village, Delo viewpoint offers a magnificent panoramic view of mountains, hilltops. It's a park that offers a great opportunity for the kids to have quality time here. It's one of the prime attractions for the tourist visiting here. Paragliding is also done here.
Kalimpong Science centre - It's near Delo View Point, Its a science museum & also have a good view of the mountains surrounding. It's a good place for Kids & family to spend some quality time.
Icchey Gaon - Just 2.5 Km from Ramdhura, Icchey Gaon is also a small village in Kalimpong district. This place offers a calm & peaceful environment with some scenic view.
Hanuman Temple - Apart from religious attraction, this place offers a magnificent view of Mt. Kanchenjunga.
Day Excursions can be done to Sillery Gaon, Pedong, etc. Also if the tourist wishes to do river rafting in the Teesta river they can do it as a part of day excursion from Ramdhura. It is approximately 29 Km from there.
Here in Ramdhura, tourist can partake in adventurous activities like trekking, bird watching, and paragliding. If the visitors are feeling more adventures they can travel towards Teesta Bazaar and experience the thrill of White River Rafting.
Since it is an new offbeat destination and outskirts of the main town, luxurious stays are not available here, budget homestays which are cosy and hygienic are available for tourists and family. The tourists by staying in these homestays come across & experience the hospitality of the local people living here.
By Air: The Nearest airport is Bagdogra airport, which is well connected with the rest of the country. You have to take a cab or can hire a taxi to cover a distance of 89km to reach Kalimpong. From there a 15 km you have to travel to reach the homestay. You can ask for pick up also.
By Train: to reach Kalimpong and then Ramdhura, first of all, take a train and reach New Jalpaiguri Station. The distance from NJP to Kalimpong is 86 km. you can take a bus or rent a car to reach Kalimpong and then further 15 km to reach Ramdhura. You can ask for pick up from Kalimpong to reach Ramdhura
By route: You can take a bus or a car from Kolkata which may take 16 hours to reach NJP. From NJP to Ramdhura you will be covering another 110 kilometers to reach Ramdhura. It may take another 3 hours to reach.
