Ging Tea Estate in Darjeeling is located in the Lebong Valley, about 10kms north-east of the Darjeeling town overlooking the himalayan range across the valley. The Tea Estate is organically certified and one of the smallest Darjeeling tea producing tea gardens of the Chamong group. This rolling tea estate spreads across an area of 600 hectares on the slopes of Darjeeling hills with altitude varying between 2,000ft to 5,000ft. However being a bio-organic garden, 60% of the estate has been left uncultivated to retain the ecological balance. The uncultivated areas mainly comprise of natural forested land full of flora and fauna. Ging Tea Estate also run  Ging Tea House in their tea estate, Ging tea house offers the luxuries of a hotel while maintaining the warmth and comfort of a home. Built in 1864, legend has it that The Tea House was one of the first colonial tea planter’s bungalows made in the region. The house which has been tastefully restored keeping its colonial heritage intact, is admirably classic in style.
